Darlene Schacht, from Time Warp Wife, shared two posts on Biblical women that I will link from here. The first is Women of the Bible: Lessons from Abigail, I have always been fascinated by Abigail’s actions, but the part that stood out to me the most in this post is this section by the author, “In silent reverence I wait until I feel His guidance lead through a whisper, “Seek me until My truth is living, moving, and breathing in your home; until the righteousness of my Word is coupled with each step you take; and until My wisdom exceeds your desire. That’s what you’re called to do.” hmmm….something to think on as I rise in the mornings, go to bed at night, and even as I plan for the new school year…I WANT HIS TRUTH LIVING, MOVING, BREATHING IN MY HOME!
The second one from Time Warp Wife’s blog is, Women of the Bible: Lessons from Esther. I LOVE the story of Esther! Check out Darlene’s free Bible studies on the women of the Bible while you are there.
